SPLASH for SMK/MAK Grade XI

SPLASH (Smart Path to Learning English) SMK/MAK for Grade XI consists of six language skills: listening, viewing, speaking, reading, writing, and representing. The features of the book are designed as follows.

•  Learning Objectives is based on the 2021 curriculum.

• Prologue summarizes the language functions and themes that will be covered in the chapter.

• Brainstorming is an activity as a short preface to each chapter. 

•   Listening Section is the skill exploring student’s ability to listen to the audio.

• Reading Section is the skill exploring student’s ability to read every text or materials which include grammar and vocabulary matter. 

•  Viewing Section is designed to explore student’s ability in absorbing the materials.

• Speaking Section is the skill exploring student’s ability to speak English in the class.

• Writing Section is the skill exploring student’s ability to write in English based on the theme given in each chapter.

• Visual Representation Section are the skill exploring student’s ability to present visually.

• For Your Information is a brief explanation about topics being studied.

• Grammar Corner is a variety of materials covering grammar for the lesson.

• Critical Thinking Tasks is an activity to hone students’ critical and logical thinking skills according to PISA questions.

• Pancasila Profile Development is designed to develop the character of student, based on Pancasila.

• Summary contains a short description of the main facts or idea of the lesson.

• Reflection contains an assessment to check understanding of the lesson.

• Evaluation contains reading and writing tests.

• Mini Project is designed to encourage each student’s ability, explore, interpret, and work on the assignment.
