SPLASH for SMK/MAK Grade X

SPLASH (Smart Path to Learning English) SMK/MAK for Grade X consists of six language skills: listening, viewing, speaking, reading, writing, and representing. The features of the book are designed as follows.

• Prologue summarizes the language functions and themes that will be covered in the chapter.

• Speaking Section is the skill exploring student’s ability to speak English in the class.
• Writing Section is the skill exploring student’s ability to write in English based on the theme given in each chapter.
• Visual Representation Section are the skill exploring student’s ability to present visually.
• For Your Information is a brief explanation about topics being studied.
• Grammar Corner is a variety of materials covering grammar for the lesson.
• Critical Thinking Tasks is an activity to hone students’ critical and logical thinking skills according to PISA questions.
• Pancasila Profile Development is designed to develop the character of student, based on Pancasila.
• Summary contains a short description of the main facts or idea of the lesson.
• Reflection contains an assessment to check understanding of the lesson.
• Evaluation contains reading and writing tests.
• Mini Project is designed to encourage each student’s ability, explore, interpret, and work on the assignment.
